RALPH HENDERSON
Ralph Henderson, of 684 Juniper Street, Junction City, died Feb. 5, at the age of 76.
He was born March 4, 1903 at Lancaster. He was married to Lamerne Empey Nov. 11, 1933 in Junction City. Henderson was a member of the Methodist Church in Junction City, a senior citizens group, the grange and the Oregon Lane Roamers Trailer Club. He had worked as a school custodian.
Henderson and his wife raised 15 foster-children, and together they shared a great interest in the welfare of children in general.
Surivors include his wife Lamerne, a daughter Sherrill Doty, Junction City; a son, Cecil Criter, Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren Mark and Crystal Doty of Junction City, and others out of state.
Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church, Junction City, Feb. 8. The Rev. George Emerson officiated. Private interment was at Rest Lawn cemetery.
