George Ellsworth Bunker (1885-1971) was born the son of George W. (3/1847-) and Catherine Deyho Bunker (6/5/1858-10/23/1932) who married 7/1/1878.

His known siblings were: Sarah Bunker (2/1881), Hattie B. Bunker (12/1882-8/1/1966), Hiram W Bunker, and Elmer Bunker.

He married, Hazel I. Higley Bunker (6/20/1893-1/20/1970) on 5/28/1913.

His known children: Pauline Bunker Trasin (11/11/1913-5/6/1989, Sarah Luella Bunker (3/8/1914-2/23/1952), June Bunker (3/12/1920-12/13/1965), Jack E Bunker (7/19/1923-10/11/1939), Floyd Craig Bunker (10/15/1927-10/20/2012), Richard Allison Bunker (8/7/1930-4/15/2012), and Robert Clayton Bunker (3/5/1932-3/20/2011),

GEORGE E. BUNKER COUDERSPORT, P. - George E. Bunker, 86, of Hebron Center, near Coudersport, died Wednesday (Feb. 24, 1971) at the Maple View Rest Home after a long illness.

Born Feb. 23, 1885, at Greenwood, N.Y., he was a son of George W. and Catherine Deyho Bunker.

On May 28,1913, at Hebron Center, he married the former Hazel I. Higley, who died Jan. 20, 1970.

Mr. Bunker had served in the Navy during World War I.

He was a tool dresser in the area oil and gas fields.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Pauline) Trasin of Youngsville; three sons, Craig Bunker of Limestone, N.Y., Richard Bunker of Jamestown, N.Y., and Robert Bunker at home; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Grabe-Fickinger Funeral Home, 210 N. East St., Coudersport. after 2 pm. today. Funeral services will be conducted there Saturday (Feb. 27, 1971) at 1 pm. by the Rev. Howard Burnham, pastor of the Hebron Union Church. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery at Bradford.
