Jehu, also listed occasionally by the name John, was born in Pennsylvania in November of 1860, but we don't know where. Date of birth on the death certificate was November 7, 1859. He was the son of Robert J. Campbell & Margaret Nixon. He appears suddenly in O'Hara Township in 1900, married and with 4 children. He was a laborer at a local mill and later describes himself in census records as a carpenter. His family lived on 2nd Street in Hoboken. He died at age 69, on December 18, 1928 in O'Hara Township along Freeport Road near the Allegheny County Workhouse. The cause of death was a fractured skull when struck by a car.
