Dorothy May Owen Walker

Dorothy Walker, 77, a resident of Grays Harbor since 1947, died Monday at a hospital here.

She was born June 14, 1909, in Hominy, Oklahoma to the parents of Lawton Milton and Dona Frances "Donnie" Boswell Owen.

She moved to Grays Harbor from Ponca City, Oklahoma. She had worked at Pantorium Cleaners in Hoquiam from 1948 until 1957.

Her husband Ray Leland Walker preceded her in death in 1975, a son, Billy Ray Walker in 1970.

She is survived by a son, LeRoy Walker of Cosmopolis, a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Frances M.) Lamont of Easton, Washington, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and a sister, Maggie Walden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Hoquiam. The body can be viewed at the Fred Hill Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Friday.
