Ralph E. Mize Sr., 83, of 2525 U.S. Highway 29 S. died Monday, April 24, 2000.
A native of Haralson County,Mr. Mize was a son of the late Herschel and Annie Ruth Edwards Mize and was the widower of Catherine Bassett Mize.
He was a retired as a principal from Madison County and Commerce Elementary schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a Shriner. He was a member of Moon's Grove Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge Post 348 and American Legion Post 39.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at
Moon's Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Lee officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
