Funeral services for Irene Bass Bolton, 84, of Slagle were Saturday, March 26th at 10 am at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, Rev. Terry Ward officiated and Anthony Jeane speaking. Burial followed at the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle.
Irene was born in Simpson, Louisiana the daughter of David and Rosa Bass. She passed away Wednesday, March 23rd in Alexandria.
Irene was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Slagle and she loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years W. T. Bolton, her grandson, Justin Lynn Roberts, four brothers and one sister.
Irene is survived by her two daughters and one son-ln-law; two grand daughters; two great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
