Mary E. "Betty" Overhulse of Bowling Green died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Bowling Green Manor Nursing Home. She was born September 13, 1922 in Somerville, Massachusetts to William J. and Doris (Hooper) Martin. She married Dr. Paul Overhulse on May 10, 1944 in Cambridge, Mass. She was a graduate of Fischer Business College in Boston and worked for four years as the Administrative Assistant in the Romance Language Department of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore before moving with her husband to Bowling Green. A loving wife and mother, she was an avid bowler, a faithfull supporter of BGSU Football and Basketball for over 40 years. She was a long term member of the Wood County Hospital Guild, serving as it's treasurer for a number of years. survivng are her husband; three daughters, Kathy Smith of Bloomington, Indiana; Lois Niezgoda of Huston, Texas and Marilyn Crabill of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Glenn Overhulse of Bowling Green. Six Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a sister, Margaret Mayer. Visitation will be Monday, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm at the Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green. A private service will be Tuesday with burial in Union Hill Cemetery.
