Delia Jones Ables, 93, of Childers Street, Pulaski, TN, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at Hillside Hospital, Pulaski, TN.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Giles Memory Garden with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 9:00 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Mr. Ables was born in Athens, Al, on May 14, 1908. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Margaret Baggett Jones and the wife of the late Robert Floyd Ables. Mrs. Ables was a homemaker.
Survivors include five sons, Clyde Ables, Max Ables and F. R. Ables all of Pulaski, TN, Charles Ables of Stella, TN, and Cletus Ables of Elkmont, Al; three daughters, Audean Merrell of Kentucky, Barbara Jones of Minor Hill, TN, Betty Brunfield of Pulaski, TN, and a special daughter-in-law, Charlotte Ables; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
