CHARLES ACUFF
SPRINGDALE -- Charles Acuff, 80, of Springdale died April 16, 2001, at Springdale. He was born May 3, 1920, at Pyett to Alpha Acuff. He was a longtime resident of Springdale, was retired from George's Inc., and was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alpha Johnson Acuff, to whom he was married 55 years; two sons, Frank Acuff of Springdale and William Acuff of Tontitown; four daughters, Carol Case, Wanda Swakhammer and Sherri Perdew, all of Springdale and Imogene Perry of Sedalia, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Troy Acuff of Berryville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Henshaw and the Rev. Rufus Young officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Acuff, Eugene Case, Billy Case, Tim Mitchel, Dave Sorell, Doug Martin, Mathew Acuff and Mark Dossett.
Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
