Patsy Ann Barney, the second of 6 girls born to Arthur and Erna Barney. She graduated South Haven High School in 1953 and entered Newton School of Nursing in Winfield, KS that Fall. She was engaged to Kyron V. Hall, who entered the U.S.Air Force in 1954. In May 1955, they were married in the South Haven Methodist Church. They couple lived in Enid, OK while Kyron completed his pilot training. They moved to San Marcos,TX where son, Jeffery Neil, was born in 1955. Then to Randolph AFB,San Antonio, TX where son, Gregory Brent. was born in Feb 1957. The couple moved to Stead AFB, Reno, NV where daughter, Stephanie Lynn, was born Dec 1958. Pat and the kids moved back to Ark City, KS for a year while Kyron served in Labrador. In 1960 they were back at Stead. Daughter,Rochelle Marie, was born in Reno in Feb 1961 but only lived a few hours. She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery. Kyron and Pat lived in several states, including Alaska, before settling in Great Falls, MT after Kyron's retirement from the Air Force 1974. In 1977 they were divorced. Pat worked as Receptionist at a lawyer firm for a few years before venturing into Real Estate sales. She did quite well and soon opened her own office, First Choice Properties. Her former husband, an Emergency Services helicopter pilot on duty at the hospital at the time, his wife Kathy, and son Greg from Helena, MT and Pat's companion, "Sandy" McCracken were at her side when she passed away. At her request she was cremated and her ashes buried in Great Falls,MT and Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven, KS near her daughter and parents.
She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, very strong and capable woman.
