Evelyn Abraham
A private family services was to be held at Wenatchee for Evelyn Abraham, 83, of Bothell, who died Feb. 10.
She was born in Montreal, Canada, and grew up in Sault Ste. Marie. She was a graduate of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. After her marriage to Dr. John T. Abraham in 1930, she moved to Wenatchee where her husband established a medical practice and became the area's first pediatrician.
Mrs. Abraham was active in the Orthopedic Guide and Wenatchee Hospital Guild, Wenatchee Golf and Country Club, and the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son Dr. John Abraham of Santa Ana, Calif.; daughters Mary Ann Brisson of Spokane, and Judy Miller of Bothell, sister Doris Maybee of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death.
Memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital and Medical Center.
Arrangements were by Green's Kirkland Funeral Home.
