Mechelle Danielle Gandy and Asher Rion Olivas passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friend 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mechelle was born July 20, 1984 in Visalia, Calif., to David Gandy and Georgia Kruse Hicks. She had a been a resident of Arlington the past 20 years. Mechelle worked at 7-Eleven and also as a waitress at Pluckers. Family and friends were the joy of her life along with her beloved son, Asher Rion Olivas, who passed away with her.
Asher was born Feb. 25, 2010, in Arlington. They were preceded in death by their grand/great-grandparents, Margaret Kruse, James and Diane Hicks, Bill Dyson, and uncle/great-uncle, Tommy Stout.
