FRANK RHYMER, SR.
FAIRVIEW -- Frank Thomas Rhymer, Sr., 84, of 40 Blue Ridge Development Road, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Rhymer was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Lon and Ada Allison Rhymer. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired television and radio repairman. He was a member, deacon and usher at the Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Zelda Jenkins Rhymer; two sons, Frank Thomas Rhymer Jr. and Gerald Daniel Rhymer, both of Fairview; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens with the Rev. Tony Abbott officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 5100, Asheville, NC 28813.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
