Mrs. Hattie May Kimpton Trask, 85, died on Tuesday (3/24/1953) at the home of her son, Leroy Trask in Springfield, MA, where she had lived for the last four years.

She was born in Hopkinton on Jan. 21, 1868, a daughter of Wallis and Carrie Downey Kimpton.

She was married on Jan. 22, 1889 to Fred Trask at Sioux Falls, Iowa. He died in 1946.

Survivors were: a son, Leroy, Trask, Springfield, MA; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Leach, Potsdam-Hopkinton road; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. An uncle, Dell Downey of Fort Jackson also survives.
