"Fast Freddy and The Playboys" was created by Fred Byler. He was billed as "The King of Male Strippers", from Niles, Michigan.

He was divorced at the time of his death. He was just 37 years old and his death was surrounded by controversy. Fred died at 4:40 a.m. and the "injury" occurred at the Kicker's Sports Bar, that he and his fiancee, Diana Blackburn, co-owned and managed. The official cause of death, on the death certificate, indicates an Acute Coronary Artery Thrombosis. The onset until death was seconds. Other significant conditions contributing to death: Drug Toxicity - Cocaine. An autopsy was performed.

I attended his funeral and I have to say it was probably one of the largest that Niles, MI has seen in some time. Very sad that he died so young.
