MISHAWAKA - Dorland C. "Pete" Albert, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday in Forest Hill Nursing Home, Fort Worth. Mr. Albert retired in 1964 from South Bend Range. He was born Oct. 29, 1908 in Mishawaka.
On April 20, 1930, in South Bend, he married Lois Steele. She died Jun 5, 1975. He is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Maes of Fort Worth; two sons, Norman K. of Mishawaka and Charles W. of Wabash, IN.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
