MRS. WILLINGHAM DIES AS THE RESULT OF FALL

Body Will Be Taken to Albany, Ga., This Morning for Interment

Mrs. Cecilia Baynard Willingham, widow of the late Thomas H. Willingham, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. J. Daniel, at 100 Forrest avenue. Her death was the result of a fall which she received at her home in Tifton on March 27. She was brought to Atlanta and given the best of medical attention, but owing to her advanced years she never rallied.

Mrs. Willingham was born in Beaufort, S. C., in 1828, and was the daughter of Archibald Baynard. She was married to Thomas H. Willingham, who was a member of the famous Willingham family of Georgia. She was the mother of fifteen children, ten of whom survive her: Mrs. E. H. Bacon of Eastman, Mrs. T. O. B. Wood, Mrs. H. H. Tift, Mrs. J. W. Myers and W. J. Willingham of Tifton; W. B., B. L. and Baynard Willingham and Mrs. C. J. Daniel of Atlanta, and Mrs. W. L. Pickard of Savannah.

Mrs. Willingham was pre-eminently a useful women in doing good work in the world. She was a member of the Baptist church from early childhood.

The body will be taken this morning to Albany, Ga., to be laid to rest besides her husband and others of the family who had gone before. Rev. W. L. Pickard, pastor of the First Baptist church of Savannah, will conduct the funeral services.

Ceceli'as father, Archibald Calder Baynard, was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Calder) Baynard. Archibald was at one time a member of the South Carolina Legislature. Cecelia's mother was Martha Sarah Chaplin (1805-1889), daughter of Benjamin Chaplin II.
