She was born on January 15, 1941, in Charlottesville, a daughter of the late Robert Randall and Salena (Moyer) Critzer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ann Moore.
Mrs. Marks retired from People's Drug Store and had worked as a Crossing Guard in Charlottesville. She loved her family, always smiled and never had a cross word. She loved flowers and birds.
Survivors include her husband, Emmett R. Marks; three sons, Robert Monroe Marshall of Albemarle County, Frankie Wayne Marshall and his wife, Debra, of North Garden, and Curtis Wayne Marshall Jr. of Woodridge; a sister, Judy Rogers of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Mariah Bradley and Shane Marshall; and a great-grandson, Quinton Marshall.
A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at Scottsville Cemetery by the Reverend Sidney Craig.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
