Robert Theodore Lott, 81, was born Feb. 21, 1930 in Varnado, and went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2011 after a 7-year battle with colon cancer.

He was a member of Terrace Missionary Baptist Church, where he faithfully served as a deacon for 47 of the 52 years he was a member. He owned and operated Lott's Floor Service in the Bogalusa area for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ollie Faye Ball; two daughters, Jeannen Meyers of Hammond and Ida Nell (Lavon) Ingram of Bogalusa; a son, Dale Lott of Bogalusa; a sister, Pearl Hines of Pine, and a brother, Paul (Shelia) of Breaux Bridge; five grandchildren: Dewanne King, James Neil (Tara) Dillon, Melissa Meyers, Ivy (James) Kennedy and Casey Nicholson; six great-grandchildren: Brittany Crowe, Cody and Joshua Cook, Yancey Nicholson and Blake and Kaleb Kennedy; and a great-great granddaughter, Briley Renee Crowe.

He is also survived by a special friend and cousin, A.G. and Edna Nobles and family, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzy A. and Martha Ann Nobles, an infant daughter, Betty Gail, and two brothers, Billy G. Lott and E.A. Nobles.

Visitation will be held Sunday at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continue on Monday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Billy Ray Hines and Eld. Gerald Penton officiating. Interment will follow in the Miley Cemetery, 7 Mile Road in Pine
