Deceased was born in Columbiana county, O., and came with his parents to this county in 1844 and resided here continously until his death. Mr. Rummel was a man very highly esteemed by all who knew him, and it was perhaps truly said of him that he had not an enemy among his fellow men.
Funeral services were held at the Brick church, in Otsego township, on Monday, conducted by Elder L. L. Carpenter, of Wabash, Ind., and were largely attended.
