Services for Mrs Charles L Wheeler 79 of Alanson, who died yesterday Nov 23 1967 at Lockwood-MacDonald Hospital where she had been a patient for the last six weeks, will be Saturday at 2 PM at the Stone Funeral Home. Rev William Frisby will officiate and burial will be in Alanson Cemetery. Born Eleanor Ablett near Central Lake, she married Mr Wheeler in Muskegon Nov 7 1931. They made their home there until coming to Alanson in 1947. Mrs Wheeler was a member of the first Baptist Church of Alanson. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs Marie Wheeler of Alanson, Mrs Thalmay Rowan and Mrs Eleanor Pierce of Grand Rapids; three sons, Elliott Thompkins, Grand Rapids, Enos L Tyler of Alanson and Grover Tyler of Burt Lake; 16 grandchildren; eight grandchildren; two sisters Mrs Sadie Marshall of Muskegon and Mrs Emma Lithtle of Hessel and a brother Dallas Ablett of Central Lake.
