Albert Henderson was a second generation stonemason. Much of his work is still present along the stone walls and statue pedestals at Country Club Plaza, Kansas City, as well as countless other areas of Kansas City. He was married to Stella Comer on March 15, 1915. They had two sons, Emmett and Donald. Albert was known for his honesty, strong work ethic, Christian beliefs and integrity. Although he spent his entire life living in the Kansas City area, within a two block area, he died in St. Louis County the day after spending Christmas was his son and family. Stella said at one point that she first noticed him because of his beautiful blue eyes.
