"Mrs. Jones, 60, died in St. John's Hospital on Thursday, January 28. She resided at 273 Merriweather Road. Survivors include her husband, Ellsworth; a daughter, Margaret; a son, Wilfred; three sisters, Mrs. Albert Cook (Dorothy), Mrs. Richard Sprung (Sarah), Mrs. James Whitney Dunn (Pauline), and two brothers, Louis Farrell Kraetke and Richard William Kraetke. Services for Mrs. Jones were held Monday, February 1, at the Verheyden Funeral Home. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery."
Marjorie and her husband, Deke, co-owned a lovely summer cottage at the Straits of Mackinac with her twin sister, Dorothy, and Dorothy's husband, Albert. For many years the two couples and their combined three children, spent the summer months enjoying the sandy beach and crystal clear water of the straits.
