RANCHO BERNARDO - Patricia Herzog Abadie, 74, died Monday, February 16, 2004, in Ramona of injuries she received in an automobile accident.

Born September 16, 1929, in Galveston, Texas, she lived in Rancho Bernardo for nine years.

Mrs. Abadie was preceded in death by her niece, Susan Herzog. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Abadie of Rancho Bernardo; sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Cindy Abadie of Crownsville, Md., and Paul and Erin Abadie of Houston; daughters and sons-in-law Julie and John Sleeper of Rancho Bernardo and Lynn and Rick Supplee of Crownsville; brother and sister-in-law Louis and Patti Herzog of Bluffton, S.C.; and grandchildren Aaron, Christine, Jason, Bonnie Lee, Michael, Cathy, Meghan, Claire, Alex, Lauren, Maria, Adam and Amanda; and one great-grandchild.

Viewing is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. and rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary, 13243 Poway Road in Poway. A Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Friday, February 27, at San Rafael Catholic church in Rancho Bernardo with the Rev. Len Vaillancourt and Monsignor Dennis Mikulanis officiating. Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego.

Powary Bernardo Mortuary is handling arrangements.
