Elisha, was in the Eleventh Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry in 1861, and died in service at Fortress Monroe in 1863. Fort Monroe (also known as Fortress Monroe) is a military installation in Hampton, Virginia – at Old Point Comfort. Son of William Boice and Elizabeth Townsend Boice.
