Bettendorf - Services for Thomas L. Bloss, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at McGinnis Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal, where full military honors will be accorded. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bloss died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.

He was born Oct. 26, 1948, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Edward D. and June (Frickelton) Bloss. He married Loran Werner in LeClaire, Iowa.

He was employed as a driver for Werner Enterprises and Midwest Connection. He had previously been employed by Farmall and the Rock Island Arsenal.

Mr. Bloss served in the Marine Corps from 1969-75.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Willy Mohr, Bettendorf; grandchildren, Anthony and William Mohr; his mother and her husband, June and Bob Greip, DeWitt; and brothers, David Bloss, Milan, and Edward Bloss Jr., Davenport. He was preceded in death by this father, Edward Bloss, on July 6, 1976.
