Bill Adams had been a resident of Archuleta County since about 1934 and had many friends throughout the entire area.
He was born August 31, 1906 in Grant City, Missouri. His childhood was spent in Kansas and Oklahoma and he lived at Big Springs, Negraska from 1928 until 1934.
He was united in marriage to Letha M. Allen at Holyoke, Colorado September 1, 1928.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Leona Thayer of Pagosa Springs, Mrs. Wanda Rambo of Merced, California and Mrs. Virginia Childress, Pecos, Texas. In addition there is one surviving brother, Alva of Kermit Texas and a sister, Olive Zimmerman of Cripple Creek, Colorado. There are also five grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services were held September 2, with burial in the local cemetery. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church with the Rev. J. C. Woods officiating.
