Will of Samuel Jeremiah Bullock

August 4, 1893 -- Deed Book 37, Page 232 --Butler County, Missouri

This indenture, made on the 4th day of August A.D. One Thousand eight Hundred and Ninety Three by and between Citha D. Bullock, widow of Jeremiah Bullock, Anna Williams and Louis Williams, her husband, Mary Vanlandingham and James Vanlandingham, her husband, Mattie Mills and Robert Mills, her husband, Riley Bullock and Eva, his wife, Benjamin Bullock and Hettie, his wife, Harvey Bullock and Emma, his wife heirs of Jeremiah Bullock, deceased --also Allie McCoron and her husband T.D. McCoron, of the County of Butler and the State of Missouri, parties of the First Part and Susan V. Combs and Martha Chivington of the County of Butler and the State of Missouri parties of the Second Part: Witnesseth that the said parties of the First Part, in consideration of the sum of One Dollars to them paid by the said parties of the Second Part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged to these presents, Remise, Release and forever quit claim unto the said parties of the Second Part, the following described lots, tracts or parcels of land, lying being and situated in the county of Butler and the State of Missouri to Wit: All of the North Half of Lot 113 in the orginal town (Nowleity), of Poplar Bluff, as the same appears upon the Plot of the original town now on file in the office of the recorder of said Butler County.

To have and to hold the same with all rights, immunities, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said parties of the Second Part, and their heirs and assigns forever so that neighter the said parties of the First Part, nor their heirs nor any other person or persons for them or in their names or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or any part thereof, but they and every one of them shall by these presents, be excluded and forever barred. In Witness whereof, the said parties of the First Part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Bullock (widow), Anna Williams and Louis, her husband, Mary Vanlandingham and James, her husband, Mattie Mills and Robert, her husband, Riley Bullock and Eva, his wife, Ben Bullock and Hettie, his wife, Harvey Bullock and Emma, his wife, Allie McCoron and F.D., her husband, to me known to be the persons described and who executed the foregoing instrument and ackowledged that they executed the same as their free act and deed.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my offical seal at my office in Poplar Bluff, the day and year first above written. My term expires October 12, 1893.
