Maybelle Noel

DAVENPORT - Services for Maybelle E. Noel, 71, of 2133 Le-Claire St., will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Church, Davenport. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove, Iowa.

Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, Davenport, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Noel died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital.

Maybelle Hahn married John A. Noel in 1943 in Grand Mound. He died in 1966.

She retired in 1988 from the Quad-Cities' Pathologist Group, Davenport, after 21 years. She and her husband farmed in the DeWitt and Grand Mound areas until 1966.

She was a member of the church; Daughters of Isabella; Our Lady of Lourdes Circle 153, Davenport; Plus 60 Club; and Ladies of the Moose, Davenport.

She enjoyed cooking.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for her great-grand-children.

Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Carlton, Davenport; grandchildren, Noel and John; great-grandchildren, Amber, Ashley and Angela; and a brother, Louis Hahn, Milan, Ill.
