Esther, wife of Aaron Burkhart, residing about one and one-half miles southwest of Voganville, died on Wednesday evening. Mrs. Burkhart was a member of the Mennonite Church. She was a daughter of David and Elizabeth Hurst, of Caernarvon township. Deceased is survived by her husband, one daughter, Esther, and the following sisters: Mrs. Anna Ludwig, of New Holland; Mrs. Daniel Sensenig, of Martindale; Mrs. Malinda Lauver, of Groffdale, and Misses Fanny, Alta and May. Her age was 21 years, 9 months and 18 days. The funeral of Mrs. Burkhart and her infant will be held this (Saturday) morning at 9:30 o'clock from her late residence, with interment in the old Groffdale burial ground. Bishop Benjamin Weaver and Rev. Noah Mack will officiate. Funeral Director J. D. Bowers has charge.
