Rose Greenwood, age 87, of Leavenworth, KS, passed away on March 26, 2011. Memorial services will be on Friday, April 1 at Southern Heights United Methodist Church, 726 Muncie Rd. Leavenworth, KS at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:30-8 PM at the church. Burial in Sunset Memory Gardens. Rose was born on March 31, 1923 in Ocheyedan, Iowa. She was a member of Southern Heights United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Greenwood in 1994 and by her sister, Delores Sherbert. Rose is survived by her children, Marsha Morris of Nashville, TN, Allen Greenwood (Jane) of Kansas City, KS, Wendy Chalfin (Bill) of Goodlettsville, TN and Vickie Gillaspie (Rick) of Leavenworth, KS, sisters, Janice Anderson of Minneapolis, MN and Kay Crose of Louisville, KY, 12 grandkids, 18 great grandkids and 2 great great grandkids.
