Wilber's parents were William Wesley (1875-1962) and Daisy Maude Howar (1878-1937) Bequeaith. He married his wife, Lillian, on July 25, 1936 in Lancaster, Missouri. They were the parents of 4 children; William Earl, Wilber Eugene, Richard Dean and Donna Colleen.He owned and operated Davenport Brake Service in Davenport, Iowa and later worked in a hardware store after his retirement in 1981.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
