On March 19 Carol Ann Youngbauer escaped her earthly body to the loving arms of her Savior and her parents.

Carol was born on December 26, 1955 in Forsyth, MT. She was the second daughter and youngest child of Rose and Gale Youngbauer. Carol was a welcome addition to the family and her mother always called her "my little Christmas Carol".

Carol spent her childhood growing up along the banks of the Yellowstone in Forsyth. She attended school in Forsyth and spent the days, as most children, playing, hanging out with friends and participating in family activities.

Following high school Carol attended cosmetology school in Miles City and after passing her licensing exam briefly practiced her craft in Forsyth.

Carol spent most of her working years in the appraiser's office in Forsyth working for the State of Montana. Away from work Carol enjoyed crocheting, gardening, the company of her nieces, and playing with her dog, Sheba.

Illness forced Carol's early retirement while still in her thirties. At that time she moved back to her parent's home. Under their care she was able to travel, embroider and help her mother with craft shows. Eventually, Carol moved to Friendship Villa in Miles City where she lived for several years. There she enjoyed the company of the staff and other residents. Their kindness will always be treasured.

In 2010 Carol moved back to the nursing home in Forsyth to be closer to her father.
Carol enjoyed his visits greatly.

Through disappointment and illness Carol remained a kind and gentle person. If asked how she was doing she would cheerfully reply "I'm doing the best I can". She possessed an innocence that followed her through her entire life. It was impossible not to love Carol.

Carol is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents Rose and Gale Youngbauer.

Carol is survived by her brother Don (Mary) Youngbauer and her sister Mary (Jim) Wagner both of Forsyth, MT. Her nieces Laura (Philip) Keating of Missoula, MT and Sarah Youngbauer of Austin, TX.
Carol also leaves behind two grandnieces Miranda and Kaelyn Keating of Missoula, MT.

Her life will be remembered, along with her father's on April 2, 2011.
