William A. Bibbee, 73, of 609 1/2 Hugh St., died Tuesday afternoon at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Wood County, a son of the late Henry and Molly Cross Bibbee. He was retired, and had been a justice of the peace and a constable in Wood County for 35 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bethel H. Bibbee, three sisters, Mrs. Oddie Pierce and Mrs. Ethel Mason, both of Parkersburg, and Mrs. Ray Derenberger of Mineral Wells.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons, an infant daughter, and two brothers.
Services will be conducted Friday, 3 p.m., at the Franklin & Son Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Province will officiate, with burial in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetary.
