Diane R. Jones, 35 of 504 Martin Hill Road, Oil City, died at 5:32 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, in the Oncology Unit of UPMC Northwest, Franklin. Born Aug. 22, 1967, in Franklin, she was the daughter of William Stroup Sr. and Helen Oakes Stroup.
She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School, worked as a pre-loader at UPS and at the Blair Call Center. At one time, she was a waitress at Villa Italia. She lived for her family and enjoyed boating.
Surviving are her mother, Helen Stroup of Oil City; her father, William Stroup Sr. of Franklin; one son Philip Jones III at home; two brothers, William Stroup Jr. and wife Sherry, of Strattanville and Ron Stroup and wife, Kerry, of Seneca; three sisters, Kimberly Myers and husband, Jody of Venus, Karen Stroup and Bob of Oil City; numerous nieces and nephews; her fiancé, Kurt Feiereisen of Rumford, ME, and his children, Kurt Feiereisen Jr., Eric Feiereisen, John Feiereisen and Tommy Feiereisen all of Titusville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Morrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Evans, pastor of the Tionesta Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.
