He was born in Linton on July 31, 1950 the son of Charles and Virginia Rose (Curnutt) Duncan.
David earned a Master's Degree from Indiana State University. He taught History and Social Studies at North Daviess High School for 32 years. He was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association and National Education Association.
He is survived by several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lanna Duncan on November 24, 1965.
Graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 with the Rev. Mike Roth officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
