PORTLAND MAN PASSES THURSDAY
George Reuben Dissmore, a former Dayton resident, died in his Portland home Thursday, December 15, at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 19 days. Mr. Dissmore was born in Whitehall, Wis., the son of George P. Dissmore, on March 26, 1873.
His wife, Mary Dissmore, preceded him in death in August, 1948.
Survivors are a son, Harold O., Portland; and sister, Mrs. Martha Nogosek, Dayton, and Mrs. Jesse Dowd, Weston, Ore. Also three granddaughters.
Services were held at the chapel of Macy and Son on Saturday, December 17, the Rev. Lowell Powers officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial park.
