Blanche was born in Scott Township, Sandusky County, east of Risingsun.

She, along with her future husband, graduated from Risingsun High School with the combined 1915 and 1916 class. Blanche then attended the Bowling Green Normal School and became a teacher, serving in a one-room school near Millersville in 1917 and 1918.

Blanche and Burton married on Aug. 16, 1918 in her home.
Children were:
Ethel (b. 1919)
Mavis (b. 1923)
Zoelouise Marie (b. 1936)

According to her obituary, Blanche was a cook for the Fostoria YMCA and a recorder for Robinson Directory Service.

Blanche also taught Sunday school at Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member of the church's Ladies Aid as well as president of the Missionary Society. She was a member of the Rehobeth Women's Christian Temperance Union and the ladies auxiliary of the Good Shepard Home in Fostoria.

She died at Toledo Hospital after having been ill for three weeks.
