An obituary in the Apr. 28, 1932 Risingsun Unique read:
"Word was received by friends here last Wednesday of the passing of a former resident, Mrs. Almeda Belle Roush, who died at her home, 638 Walnut street, Fostoria, shortly before midnight last Tuesday, follow an illness of three months.
"The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heberling. She was born at Helena, Ohio, April 30,1870, making her age at the time of demise 61 years, 11 months and 19 days. She was married to Amandus Roush at Fremont, October 18, 1888.
"Those who survive are the husband, the following daughters, Mrs. Sherman Klotz of Risingsun, Mrs. Alfred Shultz of Fostoria, Mrs. Charlotte Marshall and Mabel Roush at home; one sister, Mrs. Marion Shultz of Quincy Mich., and two brothers, R. J. Heberling of Helena and A. J. Heberling of Gibsonburg. Eleven grandchildren also survive.
"Mrs. Roush was well known and highly esteemed locally, having resided here and in the vicinity of Girton most of her life. Her passing is a source of keen sorrow to all who knew her well.
"Funeral services were held at the Church of God at Girton, Ohio, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Nathan L. Yoder, assisted by J. Osburn. Burial was in the Trinity Cemetery."
