Arthur Lee "Ott" Johnson, 49, 3507 S. York Road, died Aug. 11, 1999, in Hendersonville. A native of Gaston County, son of the late Margie Mecum Johnson, brother of the late Gary and Robert Johnson, Army veteran of the 82nd Airborne, truck driver for Estes Motor Lines, Charlotte, member of Souls Harbor Tabernacle. SURVIVORS: Wife, Pearlie Dianne Simms Johnson; son, Gary Johnson, Gastonia; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Marty Brooks, Kings Mountain; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Patsy Johnson, Gastonia, Hugh and Penny Johnson, Gastonia; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Rev. Chuck Poole, Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Josh and Brandon Brooks
