Solomon and his wife Mary Ann Moresburgh Nalley had a very large family (Margaret A. abt 1834, William abt 1836, Sarah 1837, Charlotte 1838, Jeremiah abt 1839, Elizabeth 1842, John abt 1847, Ann Rebecca abt 1849, Mary Ellen 1852, Henry abt 1856, the other three unknown.). Records for Solomon P Nalley show him buried in Silver Creek Cemetery, Mt Morris, Ogle Co, Illinois. Waiting for photos and verification when available.

"Born in Maryland, USA on 1810 to Walter Nalley and Lucinda Trunnell. Solomon married Mary Ann Moresburgh and had 9 children. Solomon married Elizabeth Garver and had 2 children. He passed away on 30 May 1896 in Mt Morris Township, Ogle, Illinois, USA."

Per his daughter Mary Ellen's obituary, Solomon's first wife, Mary Ann Moresburgh/Moseberg died in Illinois about 1870, and the family or some of them moved to Iowa about 1871, where it is presumed Solomon remarried and had at least three more children: "She is also survived by two half brothers and one half sister; Frank Nalley, of Mt. Morris, Ill.; Charles Nalley, of Kansas city, and Mrs. Jasper Barber, of Des Moines"
