Minnie Irene Hoehn Jensen, age 75, of Elgin, TX, passed away Wednesday,May 20, 2009. Minnie was born December 22, 1933 to Fred and Dora Hoehn. She was a long time member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Elgin, and worked at Carr Lane Manufacturing for over twenty years. Minnie loved bird watching, gardening and cooking, she also loved quilting. She made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Chester L. Jensen, sons; Eldon Jensen and wife Ellen, Larry Jensen and wife Lenora, Lester Jensen and wife Grace, daughter; Edith Doreen and husband Larry, brothers; John Hoehn, and sisters; Lillian Jensen and Emma Lee Anderson, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Viewing will begin at noon on Saturday, May 23, 2009, with Visitation from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin, TX. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 225 Lexington Rd., Elgin, TX, with interment following at Pee Lee Cemetery.
