Mae Arthur, 78, 13710 E. Delaware County Road 50 S. died Tuesday after a long illness.
Mrs. Arthur was a supervisor for the Ball State University dining service and retired in 1981. She was a lifelong resident of Liberty Township.
Mrs. Arthur was a member and past matron of Chapter 329, Order of Eastern Star, Parker City, the Ball State University Sympathy Club, and Farm Bureau of Delaware County, and a member of the Modern Farm Wives Home Economics Club. She was a 1933 graduate of Parker High School.
Her parents and a brother, Orda Smith, are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where Eastern Star services will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday.
