MOUNTAIN VIEW - A.J. Morris, 88, of Mountain View died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at a Mountain View hospital.
Born Oct. 20, 1912, in the Richwoods community near Mountain View, he was the son of Neal H. and Allie Risner Morris. He was a farmer and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church at Sugar Hill.
Survivors include four sons, Jack Morris of Timbo, A.J. Morris Jr. of Morrilton, John "Buck" Morris of Leavenworth, Kan., and Douglas Morris of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Allie Oliver of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Jeannie McLellan of Rogers and Lillie Mays of Marshall; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain View with the Rev. Randy Long officiating. Burial will be in Fredonia Cemetery near Mountain View.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jack Morris Jr., Clay Morris, John Morris, Greg Oliver, Rex Oliver, DeAnn Morris, Kim Morris, Lisa Morris, Dawn Morris, Kristie Morris, Melani Morris and Jennie Oliver.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday
