Funeral for Eric Dale King, 39, of Elkmont, will be Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Randall Hammock officiating. Burial will be in Copeland Cemetery.
Mr. King, who died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at the Athens-Limestone Hospital, was born November 18, 1971, in Morgan County.
He was an investigator for the Limestone County Sheriff's Department, where he had been employed for 15 years. He was a member of the Special Response Team. He was a member of the Hays Mill Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Krystal Craig King; mother, Patsy Griffin Smith of Huntsville; sons, Patrick Dylan King, Eric Carson King and Charles Thomas King, all of Elkmont; and grandmother, Alberta H. Griffin of Athens.
Pallbearers will be the Special Response Team of the Limestone County Sheriff's Department.
