Dorothy Ann Atwell "Dottie," age 79, of Damascus, formerly of Rockville, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2006.
She was born December 31, 1926 in Boyds.
She was a daughter of the late Floyd B. and Margie Harner Creger.
She was the beloved wife of the late Walter "Kent" Atwell; loving sister-in-law to Cleveland, Mary, Irene, Faye and the late Moe; and one step-granddaughter, Emily; loving sister of Virginia Marshall and late husband Thomas, of Woodsboro; Mary Ruth Thorpe and late husband Charles, of Monrovia; Irene Tobery and husband Gordon, of Westminster; and Ella Mae Kessell and husband Gary, of Gaithersburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, on Tuesday, April 25, at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 or to the Montgomery Hospice Casey House, 1355 Piccard Dr., Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
