He was born Sept 18, 1869, at Osseo, Wis., and in May 1909 , was married to Miss Jennie Roberts. The couple lived at Chetek, Wis., where he was employed as a mason.
In 1943, Mr Williams moved to Waldo where he made his home with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Lamar Pierce, until entering the Park Lawn Home in August 1951.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Vratania, Bellevue, WA, Mrs Lamar (Bernice) Pierce, Waldo, Mrs Harold (Phyllis) Gamer, Sauk City, Mrs Jim (Evelyn) Bailkey, Chetek, Mrs Herbert (Beulah) Thomason, Kirkland, WA and Mrs Roger (Clara) Borden of Denver, CO. Fifteen grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren also survive.
One daughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth with the Rev Marvin Baker, pastor of the Waldo Methodist Church officiating. Burial in the Lyndon Cemetery.
