LUNKLEY FOUND DEAD IN HIS BED

Ottumwan , Living in Offices of Coal Company On Benton Street, 62 years of age

Albert Lunkley, 62, lifetime resident of Wapello County, died at his home on North Benton Street today of what Coroner Gordon Traul described as "strangulated hernia and peritonitis."

Mr. Lunkley, who had been living in the offices of the Indian Head coal mine, died about 9:30 a.m., the coroner said. He was found in his bed.

A cigar maker by trade, Mr. Lunkley was born in Wapello county March 11, 1876, the son of John and Jennie Lunkley.

Surviving are his wife, Pearl; three sisters, Mrs. J.R. Baker of Ottumwa route 6, Mrs. J.A. Lane and Mrs. Tom Sumner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and two brothers Charles of Tulsa and Joseph of Bristow, Okla.

The body is at the Traul funeral chapel pending completion of arrangements.
