He was born on May 13, 1962, in Iowa City to Clyde and Joyce Lingle Anders. A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1980, he had been an over-the-road truck driver for Hawkeye North American Van Lines.
He had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving are three sisters, mary Anders, Sharon Anders and Carolyn(James I.McClure)Anders; and a brother, David Anders, all of Ottumwa; niece, Kelli; and great-nieces, Olivia and Alezandra, all of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kevin Anders.
His body has been cremated.
Memorial service will be 10 am Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Father Bernie Weir presiding. Inurnment will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family present will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu fo flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
