Jason L Miller, 72, Footville, died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday in
Mercy Hospital after 11 weeks' illness. Mr. Miller, son of Isaac and Jeanette Rockwood Miller, was born in Mauston Sept. 10, 1886. He married Irene Craig in 1920. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Donald, of St. Louis, Francis, of Evansvile, Sheldon, of California, and Leonard, of Footville; seven daughters, Mrs. Leonard Beauprey, Marquette, Mich., Mrs. Ray Jacobson and Mrs. Robert Kersten, both of Edgerton, Mrs. Merton Wells, Footville, Mrs. Lawrence Updike, Janesville, Mrs. George Geske Jr., Milton Junction,and Mrs. Richard Ellis, Evansville; 30 grandchildren. An infant son and three sisters preceded him in death. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Reining funeral Home, the Rev. H. C. Kimmel, First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
